Top 10 Tuesday – My Favourite Ships

So as this week’s topic is a love freebie I thought I would share my favourite bookish couples! You can find all the prompts for top ten Tuesday here

So here are my favourite bookish couples!

Ali & Nahri from The City of Brass – Look it’s no secret how much I absolutely adore these two. The way they slowly became friends and found solace in each other. The way they accepted each other completely. I just love them!

Adam & Zayneb from Love From A to Z – They are such an adorable couple and I just love how much they care for each other and want the best for each other and how they made sure to keep their relationship halal and put Allah first. Just…I love them.

Khalid and Shahrzad from The Wrath and the Dawn – The enemies to lovers trope was used so effectively that despite Shazi wanting to kill him I was rooting for them the whole way. Also Khalid has some swoon worthy lines in this duology which made me melt.

Kaz and Inej from Six of Crows – I love them so much. But I love how they know that the timing isn’t right for them together so they also don’t hold each other back.

Nasir and Zafira from We Hunt the Flame – I died reading We Free the Stars because of these two and I just needed them to be okay end up together. The deep love they have for each other where they see the parts of each other no one else sees. Amazing.

Haidee & Arjun from The Never Tilting World – They went from reluctant allies to friends to lovers and I was so here for it! I also loved seeing their relationship from others perspectives because you could see how smitten they were.

Percy and Annabeth from the Percy Jackson series – The fact that they took 5 years to even realise they liked each other was amazing. Everyone else could see it except them and then we end with the underwater kiss. Perfection.

Laia & Elias from An Ember in the Ashes – The deep and tender way they care for each other and how they are a strength for each other. I just loved seeing their relationship develop even when it was painful.

Roma & Juliette from These Violent Delights – The tension and the angst killed me and then that ending. I am terrified because I don’t know how they can have a happy ending despite all they been through and I just want them to be happy together.

Ayesha & Khalid from Ayesha at Last – The way these two have the worst first impressions of each other and yet they slowly realise there is more than the first impression and yet they let others get in between them but then there is a happy ending where they start over and clear the air.

So these are my favourite couples. Let me know who your favourite couples are!

Laila and Severin from The Gilded Wolves – omg the tension between them throughout the whole book, I was literally screaming at them by the end to just admit how you feel!

Celine and Bastien from The Beautiful – I love how Renee writes romance and fills it so much tension and longing and I just loved them so much!

Haidee and Arjun from The Never Tilting World – These two go from enemies to friends to lovers and I am here for it!

Top 10 Tuesday – Favourite Couples in Books

Hey booknerds! I’m taking part in another week of Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. You can find more information here

This weeks post is about my favourite couples in books.

I have so many ships. Characters that I have been rooting for since I first met them so it was pretty hard to narrow it down to 10 but here are some of my favourite ships!

1 Ron and Hermione from Harry Potter – I will go down with this ship! Although I ship book Romione than the film version. They were one of my first ships and I still love them!

2 Samirah and Amir from Magnus Chase – They are my OTP! I have never seen a cuter couple. I love how much they support each other and Amir is just adorable! I want a book based on them please!

3 Elizabeth and Darcy from Pride and Prejudice – gahhh I love these two so much! my favourite classic and one had me screaming for them to admit their feelings

4 Percy and Annabeth from Percy Jackson – They are my favourite friendship to lovers. Their relationship develops over so many years and I love it so much!

5 Cress and Thorne from The Lunar Chronicles – They seem like opposites, but I loved how they made each other better.

6 Will and Tessa from TID – This is the one time I was rooting for both Will and Jem but I feel like Will and Tessa were better as a couple. Both are bookworms and they are so great together!

7 Ayesha and Khalid from Ayesha at Last – So much second hand embarrassment in this book that by the end I was dying in anticipation for them to admit their feelings for each other.

8 Shahrzad and Khalid from The Wrath and the Dawn – Gahh I loved them so much! Khalid is so romantic and there was so many swoon worthy moments!

9 Kaz and Inej from Six of Crows – The most sow burn romance ever and I loved it! I loved how their relationship developed but still held true to who they were.

10 Amani and Jin from Rebel of the Sands – I loved how their relationship developed and how much they had to sacrifice throughout the story. For each other and for the sake of the rebellion.

So here are some of my favourite ships! Tell me your favourite couples and come fangirl with me!
