So this is something I was discussing recently with some of my friends and now I really want a book for each of these characters. They may not be the main character but they are so important to the story and I just want to see more of their arc and point of view!
We’re also getting stories from some of my favourite characters (Nikolai Lanstov, Alec and Magnus) and it made me think of the other characters who I feel deserve their own book
So here are some characters that I wish would get their own book or at least a novella!
1 Nico Di Angelo from the Percy Jackson series – he is part of several of the Percy Jackson series but we don’t get to see a lot from his point of view or what he does when he’s not with the other demigods and I adore him so much and wish that Rick Riordan would write a series centred around him!
2 Sevro from the Red Rising trilogy – he is one of my favourite characters in this trilogy and he deserves all the love! I really want to see more from his view on things, I think it would be quite funny
3 Shahrzad from Rebel of the Sands – she is a badass and even though I adore how much we get to see of her in the story she’s missing from large parts of the story as we only see Amani’s POV and I want to know more about her, how she ended up as a general of the rebel princes army and just more of her!
4 Jalal and Despina from The Wrath and the Dawn – they were amazing together but we don’t see more than the role they play in helping Shahrzad and Khalid and I want more of them please!
5 The Darkling from the Grisha trilogy – so this is probably the one I want most because I am completely and entirely in love with the Darkling! I want a prequel so bad! To know him before he became the Darkling, how he became the Darkling that we see in the books
6 Kenji from the Shatter Me series – so although I haven’t finished the series I already love Kenji and I hope we get to see more of him and more of his backstory
7 Yumi from Flame in the Mist – we get a short story from her POV and it made me fall in love with her! So I think a novella or a longer story from her POV would be amazing!
So these are the ones I can think of right now, it will probably increase as I read more books too!
